HTC has finally introduced slide-out QWERTY handset - Desire Z in India. Featuring a 3.7-inch Super Clear LCD screen display, the Desire Z comes with Google Android Froyo update on it. Carved out of aluminium, the HTC Desire Z arrives with an updated Sense UI and with HTCSense.com support.
HTC Desire Z will be sold in India at a market operating price of Rs. 25,590. This smartphone was listed almost three months ago on Flipkart. Desire Z's 3.7-inch Super Clear LCD touchscreen display supports 480x800 pixel resolution which makes text and images appear crisp.
Housing a 800Mhz Qualcomm MSM7230 CPU and a 512MB RAM, the Desire Z comes with Android 2.2 Froyo update. SMS lovers and frequent email junkies can make the best of the full QWERTY keyboard that appears when you slide the screen outwards.
The Desire Z has a 5-megapixel camera at the back that is capable of recording 720p HD video recording. It packs 1.5GB internal memory, optical trackpad, GPS for location services, digital compass, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and DLNA support.
HTC had added 1300mAh battery to the Desire Z which offers about 9.8 hours of run time.
