Revival of Capsule by NASA

NASA would renew a space capsule to give astronauts aboard the international Space Station an emergency escape and develop a rocket capable of deep-space missions, will be proposed by Barak Obama tomorrow.

It would spend $ 3.1 billion during coming 5 years on R & D of the rocket which can take astranauts to Moon or Mars. Design of rocket will be finalised by 2015 after the R & D. 

The space shuttle program is completing its final missions before being shut down. Obama will put the details of his space policy at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The president announced a plan in Feb to develop rockets and spacecraft for a return to the moon by 2020. Obama also advices NASA to develop rocket systems that moght take US astranuats into dep space and enterpreneurs may get into space business.

The Orion capsule was intended to take astronauts to the moon via space station and also dock with the orbiting outpost and take astronauts back to earth. The moon was last visited almost 40 years ago.
